Trinity University, Tigers for Life

The Tigers for Life at Trinity University invited Brandon Parker, a third-year medical student at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, to discuss the basics of fetal development and embryology.  Parker also explained the importance of Pro-Life convictions being grounded not only in philosophy but also in biology.  Lastly, Parker described the major milestones of fetal development, which all humans experience in the womb.  Many of our members were surprised that the heart actually starts beating only twenty-two days after fertilization, even though you cannot hear the heartbeat until around eight weeks!
