Texas Right to Life celebrates Peter Flores’ Senate election victory

September 18, 2018: Texas Right to Life PAC, the oldest and largest statewide Pro-Life organization in Texas, celebrates Peter Flores’ victory as the newest state senator for Senate District 19.  Flores defeated radical pro-abortion Democrat Pete Gallego, preventing Gallego from advancing his proven anti-Life record in the Texas Senate.

“We are thrilled with Peter Flores’ election to the Texas Senate.  His victory discounts the claims of an impending blue wave, rather highlighting how voters are tired of the corrupt, anti-Life policies of Democratic career politicians,” Elizabeth Graham, Director of Texas Right to Life, said.  “We look forward to working with Flores in the Capitol to advance life-saving bills during the upcoming 86th Session of the Texas Legislature.”

Texas Right to Life was the first organization to endorse Flores.  With Republicans and Pro-Life voters behind him, Flores will finally provide Pro-Life representation to a district where such values have been ignored for too long.

Peter Flores’ victory also marks the first time a Republican has been elected to serve as state senator for SD 19.  By electing him for their district, his constituents have ensured themselves a seat at the decision-making table in Austin.
