Texas individuals, families, and communities advance the Culture of Life.

Texas Right to Life works with passionate Pro-Life supporters and expands life-saving work to every corner of the Lone Star state.  The Pro-Life message spreads from the Rio Grande Valley to Amarillo and from Houston to El Paso, returning to the Capitol in Austin with the sole purpose of protecting innocent human Life.  Texas Right to Life, the oldest, largest, and only statewide Pro-Life organization, leads the fight against the culture of death.

This week, we celebrate our success with 300,000 of our supporters who have joined us by “liking” our Facebook page.  This landmark is an impressive feat for a statewide group and shows that people outside Texas are following the Pro-Life message that you, our supporters are disseminating.  Likewise, the Texas Right to Life Facebook page has garnered more “likes” than any other state Pro-Life group or any other National Right to Life affiliate.  Texas Right to Life reaches possibly the largest audience of any Pro-Life organization, not only on Facebook but also on Twitter, Instagram and our website.  This growth contributes to the success of all Pro-Life efforts across the state.

Texas Right to Life regularly informs and engages citizens on Pro-Life issues, and makes special efforts throughout all legislative sessions, during which Texas Right to Life shared updates on priority legislation, informed supporters how to take action, and offered informative coverage.  The Jim and Michael Show, a collaborative media effort with Empower Texans, has provided regular updates and hosted important guests, including Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

Supporters have also gathered at regional events, uniting with other Pro-Life warriors in their communities.  Young Adult Life Link (Y’ALL) events offered social and service opportunities for Pro-Life young adults throughout Texas.  Celebration of Life galas take place throughout the state, celebrating Life in Houston, San Antonio, North Texas, South Texas, and the Permian Basin.  These wildly successful evenings host Pro-Life advocates and provide special guest speakers, legislative updates, and special inside information about accomplishments of the Pro-Life movement.

The Dr. Joseph Graham Fellowship for College Pro-Life Leaders recently added more scholarship recipients, some of whom will bring the fellowship to college campuses that had not previously had active Pro-Life groups.  Texas Right to Life’s educational efforts for high school students have also expanded with upcoming Team LIFE camps throughout Texas communities.  The educational camps provide Pro-Life formation for high school students and introduce teens to like-minded peers.

Recently, Texas Right to Life established an office in North Texas.  So, in addition to full-time staff in Houston and Austin, Texas Right to Life now has staff in North Texas when needed.  The new office, located in Dallas, offers immediate contact and partnership for Pro-Life Texans in the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex.

Texas Right to Life’s supporters provide an impressive testament to people outside the Pro-Life movement.  Texas Right to Life’s growth is evidenced by milestones such as that on social media.  Without the dedication of Pro-Life citizens, the work we do would not be possible.  The success of the Pro-Life movement must be credited to our supporters, for whom we are so grateful.  We look forward to the exciting growth ahead in defense of innocent human Life.
