Remembering Pro-Life activist Debbie Terry

Texas Right to Life celebrates the life and impact of longtime Pro-Life warrior Debbie Terry.  While we mourn the loss of Debbie’s presence, wisdom, and faithfulness here on earth, we rejoice in the sweet assurance that she is now free from pain and worshiping our Creator.

During her tenure and even before she was elected SREC Committeewoman for District 12, Debbie could be found marching the halls of the Capitol, urging lawmakers to pass policies protecting preborn babies, and helping elect Pro-Life candidates in North Texas.  At the core of Debbie’s political advocacy laid her unwavering belief and commitment to God’s grace through His Son, Jesus Christ; she viewed every opportunity and every person through this lens.

More than an activist, Debbie was a friend who could be counted on to offer solid advice in love.  Many times over the years, Texas Right to Life sought Debbie’s counsel due to both her involvement and her Christ-centered approach to decision making.

Yes, all who knew Debbie wish that she had more time to walk alongside us, but we count ourselves blessed to have known her.  “Well done, good and faithful servant,” are no doubt the first words Debbie heard at the gates of Heaven.
