Pro-Life Conference to Equip Students with Beginning of Life Knowledge

Pro-Life students from across Texas will converge in Austin, Texas for the fifth annual Boots on the Ground Conference this January 27-28.  This year’s conference theme is “Life. The Primary Element.” and will focus on Pro-Life issues at the beginning of Life, such as embryology, adoption, abortion law, and the “hard case” of abortion after conceiving in rape, among others.

Speakers include Arland K. Nichols of the St. John Paul II Foundation who will speak on beginning of Life science and why we protect Life from the moment of fertilization, Representative Matt Rinaldi (Pro-Life Whip of the Texas House of Representatives) reviewing the 85th sessions of the Texas legislature, Texas Right to Life’s Legislative Director John Seago on the political strategy of dismantling Roe v. Wade, and Jannique Stewart of the Life Training Institute on refuting some of the most common arguments in favor of abortion.

The conference ends at the Crowne Plaza in Austin on January 28 with equally compelling speakers: Jennifer Christie to discuss choosing Life for her preborn son after being brutally raped on a business trip, Julie Dozier of Wings of Hope on post-abortion counseling and healing from post-abortion syndrome, and Jewels Green on the pain of her abortion and her attempt to justify the decision by working in the abortion industry.  Visit BootsOnTheGroundTX.com to see the full lineup of speakers.

Student registration is $30 per person and general registration is $60 per person.  Both rates include all meals during the conference and a t-shirt.  An overnight hotel room can be purchased for an additional $10 per person.  For more information and to register, visit BootsOnTheGroundTX.com.
