Pro-Life conference focuses on diversity to end abortion

Houston, TX–Jan 23, 2017: Pro-Life Conference Focuses on Diversity to End Abortion

Pro-Life students from across Texas will converge in Austin, TX for the fourth annual Boots on the Ground Conference this January 28-29th.  This year’s conference theme focuses on uniting diverse groups on one common cause: to make abortion unthinkable.  Speakers will represent African-American groups, Hispanics, the LGBTQ community, feminists, Catholics, Lutherans, Evangelicals, secularists, various political parties, and more.  All groups are gathering to protect children, to learn how to help women better, and to promote the equal Right to Life for all human beings.

Speakers include Apostle Claver of Raging Elephants to describe the racist targeting of black Americans by organizations such as Planned Parenthood, Lisa Smiley on her story of surviving the Chinese one-child policy and seeking refuge with her family in New Zealand, a Biblical counselor to teach Biblical Pro-Life principles, and Texas Right to Life’s Legislative Director to describe secular Pro-Life philosophies.

The conference ends at the Embassy Suites in Central Austin on January 29th with equally compelling speakers: Cecilia Brown of Pro-Life Alliance of Gays & Lesbians to discuss combining forces with nontraditional Pro-Lifers, Michael Wear, a Pro-Life democratic former White House staffer under Obama’s administration, and Joyce McCauley-Benner of Feminists for Life on her story of overcoming the tragedy of rape and afterward discovering she was pregnant.  Visit BootsOnTheGroundTX.com to see the full lineup of speakers.

Student registration is $30 per person and general registration is $60 per person.  Both rates include all meals during the conference, and a t-shirt.  An overnight hotel room can be purchased for an additional $10 per person.  For more information and to register, visit BootsOnTheGroundTX.com.
