Planned Parenthood has a terrible New Year’s resolution for you

When Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards isn’t tweeting about lofty matters like coloring books featuring “Toni the Tampon,” she’s making New Year’s resolutions for us all.  On January 2, Richards tweeted: “Start your 2017 off on the right foot- no time like the present to make an appointment at Planned Parenthood!”

In case you forgot, 2016 was a year of ongoing investigation of America’s largest abortion business for the inhumane and illegal sale of body parts from babies killed in abortion.   As such, Richards may want to avoid referring to limbs in her tweets.  Twitter users were quick to note this darkly humorous irony:

The New Year’s tweet also comes after a relentless and hysterical fundraising campaign following the election of Pro-Life Donald Trump.  While Richards’ salary skyrocketed to nearly one million dollars, the steady stream of government funding is in jeopardy.  President-elect Trump and the Republican majority have vowed to finally defund Planned Parenthood.   Before that glorious defunding day, Planned Parenthood is trying to get as many appointments as possible:

In addition to Richards’ hefty salary, in 2016 Planned Parenthood suffered the financial blow of sinking $30 million in Hillary Clinton’s campaign.  The money would have been well spent for the abortion business, as Clinton is one of Planned Parenthood’s most ardent fans.  With Hillary’s crushing defeat, in part due to her radical anti-Life stance, Planned Parenthood’s dreams of ending the Hyde Amendment and reaping lucrative government rewards died.

There’s no denying that 2016 was a rough year for Planned Parenthood: ongoing and further incriminating investigations of trafficking baby body parts, the defeat of the most anti-Life presidential ticket in our nation’s history, and the expansion of life-affirming programs in Texas and across the nation.  But a bad year for a business that kills more than 300,000 babies in abortions every year is a good year for babies.

We’ll pass on Cecile’s New Year’s resolution to make appointments at Planned Parenthood.  Instead, we’ll be going to Austin to fight for the Dismemberment Abortion Ban to ensure that tiny Texans are no longer killed by being torn limb from limb in Planned Parenthood abortion mills.  Will you join us?
