Lisa Miller: Pro-Life Ambassador in Galveston County

Texas Right to Life is proud to welcome a new ambassador for Galveston County, Lisa Miller! Lisa first joined the ranks of Texas Right to Life’s volunteer team this spring as she worked to connect Pro-Life individuals in her home county to meaningful opportunities.

Lisa has a heart for engaging churches to respond to the desperate need in the Christian community for guidance on the damage caused by elective abortion. After all, 40% of women seeking abortions self-identify as Christian. Lisa seeks to meet this need by sharing the redemptive love of Christ. In doing so, Lisa provides resources for post-abortive women to experience repentance and healing after their abortions.

At the recent Republican Party of Texas state convention, Lisa served as a delegate and had the opportunity to testify before the Platform Committee. She urged them to adopt the Texas Abolition Strategy in the Republican Party of Texas platform in order to push our elected officials to finally eradicate elective abortion in our state.

We live in a culture that attempts to devalue human Life at every turn, and often we feel overwhelmed by the tragedy of the lives lost to abortion every single day. Many who hold Pro-Life views often wonder, “How can I make a difference?” The Texas Right to Life Ambassador Program equips you to do just that. We recruit and train committed volunteers like Lisa across the state to begin mobilizing like-minded people in their local areas to change hearts and minds and save innocent lives.
