Pauline Wiegand 89 of Pontiac, IL., passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at 9:55PM at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

Pauline is the mother of longtime Montgomery County Right to Life volunteer, Joe Wiegand.  Joe helps lead the chapter’s prayer vigils and writes of his experiences on MCRTL ‘s Voices for Life blog.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at the Apostolic Church of Forrest in Forrest, IL. with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in North Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Forrest, IL. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5-7PM at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Forrest, IL. There will be an additional visitation on Wednesday morning from 9:00-9:45AM at the Church. Memorials in Pauline’s name may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home Forrest, IL. is handling the arrangements.

Pauline was born on September 19, 1927 in Quincy, IL., a daughter of Dorman and Catherine (Greaver) Hall. She married Joseph R. Wiegand Sr. on July 14, 1945 in Quincy, IL. He passed away March 31, 1991.
She is survived by daughters: Dinah (Jim) Leenders, Alice (Charles) Crego, Sandra (Mark) Lewis, Elizabeth (William) Tolbert all of Pontiac, IL.; sons, Joseph R. (Barbara) Wiegand Jr. of Conroe, TX, William (Darlene) Wiegand of Cookeville, TN.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

Pauline was a member of the Forrest Apostolic Church and farmed alongside her husband for many years. She also was a furniture seamstress. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Loved doing puzzles and put dozens
