Desperate times, desperate measures: Planned Parenthood pays anti-Life campaigners

We know that Planned Parenthood is not altruistic.  If Planned Parenthood supports something, that thing can always be traced back to the abortion behemoth’s bottom line.

Support for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party is no exception.

With an anti-Life radical like Clinton in the White House, Planned Parenthood could look forward to four to eight more years of influence among the highest echelon of Washington elite.  Hillary Clinton has long been a vociferous cheerleader for abortion and for Planned Parenthood in particular.  Unsurprisingly, Planned Parenthood placed a Craigslist ad seeking canvassers who would promote Democratic candidates, undoubtedly including Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  The Craigslist ad enthusiastically markets abortion activism as a lucrative and easy job, and also reveals a plush budget for Planned Parenthood, a self-described “nonprofit” organization:

As a battleground state, Ohio could represent the difference between victory and loss for Clinton – and Planned Parenthood is willing to make a lucrative investment in ensuring their own stability by securing Clinton in the White House.

This is not the first time Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry has paid activists.  In fact, the movement is so poorly supported now – especially among Millennials – that paying for citizen support has become the modus operandi of the abortion movement.  We saw this, for example, in Austin during debate over House Bill 2, the Pro-Life Omnibus Bill of the 2013 Texas Legislative Session.  That summer, abortion “activists” were paid to demonstrate at the Capitol to give groups like Planned Parenthood the appearance of grassroots voter support when in reality only the Pro-Life fervor was genuine.  More recently, paid protesters were bussed in to D.C. to achieve the same goal during HB 2 hearings at the Supreme Court earlier this year.

Paid abortion activism is an increasingly lucrative business.  In 2013, protesters in Austin were paid between roughly $7.50 and $12.80 per hour.  Protesters at SCOTUS were paid $11.00 to $15.00 per hour.  Planned Parenthood also paid the protesters who threw condoms at Pro-Life Carly Fiorina in 2015.  Now, protesters can pocket a whopping $15.00 to $18.00 an hour even if they have no experience whatsoever.  If that doesn’t speak to the desperation of Big Abortion, we don’t know what does.
