Celebration of Life

Texas Right to Life's tenth annual Celebration of Life with keynote speaker Eduardo Verastegui on Friday, September 14, was a great success.  Special thanks go to all the sponsors, donors, and volunteers that helped to make the night happen.

Eduardo is the star of the critically acclaimed and award winning, upcoming Pro-Life movie, “Bella.” “Bella” won the People's Choice Award at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival.

Pro-abortion groups and secular leaders are very efficient in using popular media and
entertainment outlets to ensnare our culture. “Bella” is a jewel that depicts a classic love story and marks a radical departure from the endless stream of Hollywood films that champion the pro-death agenda. The film was conceived by Eduardo, director Alejandro Monteverde, and producer Leo Severino out of a desire to create art more profound and edifying than the typical immoral offerings of Hollywood. Eduardo will share his personal transition from being a Mexican heartthrob and soap star to becoming an English speaking “American” actor promoting faith and family through films.

Silent Auction

Texas Right to Life’s Silent Auction, held in conjunction with the annual Celebration of Life, is always a fun and successful part of the event. Through the many generous donations from individuals, families, and businesses in Texas, the Silent Auction raises tens of thousands of dollars for the Texas Right to Life Educational Fund. Some of the efforts of the Educational Fund include ministering to women facing unplanned pregnancies, assisting families with end-of-life decisions, and providing Pro-Life resources and speakers for churches and schools.

None of these activities are possible without your assistance and generosity. Texas Right to Life is looking for silent auction donations for next year's event.
