New Generation Now Scholars

Texas Right to Life Welcomes a New Class of 'Generation Now' Scholars

Texas Right to Life has again expanded the "Generation Now" Pro-Life Leader Scholarship Program with a new class of intelligent and passionate college students.  Sixteen students will join the "Generation Now" Program for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The message of the sanctity of human life will now be promoted on the campuses of three new universities in addition to the twelve universities where "Generation Now" scholars have established Pro-Life organizations.

Congratulations to:

Kimberlyn Schwartz, Angelo State University;
Joshua Jones, Houston Baptist University;
Baileigh Poston, Dallas Baptist University;
Joseph Francis, Texas A&M University;
Audrey Seguin, Katherine Borchert, and Bailey Cline-Coke, Texas State University;
Samantha Leifeste, Baylor University;
Elizabeth Hinchley and Lauren Bergeron, University of Dallas;
Elizabeth Radford and Martha Hudson, University of St. Thomas;
Amanda Wettig and Zachary Currey, University of Texas at Austin; and
Synthia Perez and Vanessa Garza, University of Texas at San Antonio.

Please keep these young men and women in your prayers as they will swim against the tide.

Our scholars boldly seek to clarify the misconceptions about abortion, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, and euthanasia among their college peers through positive and peaceful activities and events.

All scholars will train in Houston in June, and you are invited to join them during the following lectures.  All lectures will be held at the University of St. Thomas (3800 Montrose Blvd., Houston, TX 77006); the building and room number are indicated under each speaker.

If you wish to attend, please contact Melissa at MPici@TexasRightToLife.com or 713-303-5298 to RSVP.
