Did your representative vote in favor of torture in the womb?
Dangerous hate speech. That’s what some members of the US House of Representatives called scientific evidence that shows that babies feel pain when being aborted.
As a result of their inflamed comments, 154 members of the United States House of Representatives voted on July 31 against the D.C. Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (HR 3803) -- and in favor of unrestricted abortions in the District of Columbia up until the day of birth, even abortions that inflict excruciating pain on the unborn.
Many of those 154 members gave stump speeches about how a “woman’s right to choose” would be infringed upon if the Act were passed into law. Never once did they mention the unborn children who are violently tortured by the practice of late abortions. The law would have banned abortions after 20 weeks post-fertilization, when medical experts agree that unborn babies can feel pain.
Pro-abortion House members cannot claim ignorance of what happens during a late abortion. Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist, described in detail what happens during a late abortion in the committee hearing of HR 3803. Dr. Levantino verbally went through the Dilation and Evacuation procedure, step by step, telling members how the children are dismembered and have their heads crushed by stainless steel forceps. HR 3803 would have protected babies from this torture.
